GH3044 is a solid solution reinforced nickel-based antioxidant alloy. High plasticity, medium thermal strength below 900°C, excellent oxidation resistance and good stamping and welding process performance. Suitable for manufacturing main combustion chambers, afterburner chamber components, heat insulation screens, guide vanes, etc. that operate for a long time below 900°C.

GH3044 Organizational Structure

After solid solution of 1200°C, it is basically single-phase austenite and a small amount of MC and M23C6 carbides. After long-term aging at 700-900℃. As the aging time increases, the precipitation amount increases and the particles grow. At the same time, WCR solid solution is added to precipitate at the grain boundaries and grain boundaries, and it is granular. As the aging time increases, the number and size of M23C6 gradually increase.

According to relevant technical standards, the grain size of cold-rolled plates in the supply state should be between level 4 and 8.

GH3044 process performance and requirements

The forming properties of 1GH3044 are as follows

(1) The heating temperature of GH3044 ingot forging is 1170℃±10℃, and the final temperature is not lower than 900℃. The results show that the heating temperature of the slab rolling is 1190±10℃, the heating temperature of the hot rolling is 1130℃±10℃, and the final rolling temperature is not lower than 800℃. The total cold rolling pressure reduction ratio is about 30%.

(2) GH3044 and GH3044 have good stamping process performance. The limit depth drawing coefficient of the cold-rolled thin plate is k and the limit is 2.06.

GH3044 parts heat treatment process

The intermediate heat treatment temperature is 1140℃±10℃, insulation for 3-5 minutes, air-cooled. The final heat treatment temperature is determined according to the working conditions of the parts. Parts with good thermal fatigue performance are air-cooled for 1150℃ for 3-5 minutes; parts with greater heat power are air-cooled for 3-5 minutes; parts with higher heat power are air-cooled for 1200℃ for 3-5 minutes.
