Overview of Incoloy800 (N08800) Nickel-based alloy
Alloys have a high chromium content and sufficient nickel content, so they have high high-temperature corrosion resistance and are widely used in industry. It has excellent stress corrosion and crack resistance in chloride, low-concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high-temperature and high-pressure water, so it is used to manufacture stress corrosion and crack resistance equipment. Corrosion resistance is better than general austenitic stainless steel and also better than Inconel 600 alloy; in the manufacturing of corrosion-resistant stress-cracking equipment, it is better than Inconel 600 and Monel400 alloys.

Processing properties of Incoloy800 (n08800) nickel-based alloy
●Thermal processing of Incoloy800 (n08800) alloy
(1) The cooling method is water quenching or rapid air cooling.
(2) In order to obtain excellent performance and creep resistance, solid solution treatment should be carried out after hot processing.
(3) The material can be directly fed into a furnace heated to 1200℃, and then quickly released after sufficient insulation time, and heat processing is carried out within the specified temperature range. Reheating is required when the material temperature drops below the hot processing temperature.
● Cold processing of Incoloy800 (n08800) alloy
(1) The work hardening rate is higher than that of austenitic stainless steel, so it is necessary to select processing equipment. Cold-processed materials should be subjected to solid solution heat treatment, and intermediate annealing should be performed when the cold-processed volume is large.
(2) If the cold processing capacity is greater than 10%, a secondary solution treatment is required.
●Incoloy800 (n08800) alloy welding process
Suitable for any traditional welding process of the same material or other metals, such as tungsten inert gas protective welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas protective welding, and melted extremely inert gas protective welding. Pulse arc welding is ***. If manual arc welding is used, it is recommended to use (Ar+He+H2+CO2) as the protective gas.
