Overview of Hastelloy C22 (n06022) Hastelloy
Hastelloy C22 (n06022) is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, tungsten and other elements. The nickel content is about 60%. It is a universal Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other existing Ni-Cr-Mo alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloy and 625 alloy. Hastelloy C22 has good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent antioxidant properties in aqueous media including wet chlorine, nitric acid or mixed acids containing chloride ions.
At the same time, hastelloyc22 (n06022) Hastelloy alloy also has ideal resistance to the reduction and oxidation environment encountered during the process. With this versatile performance, it can be used in some troublesome environments, or factories for various production purposes. Hastelloy C22 (n06022) has abnormal resistance to various chemical environments, including strong oxidative substances such as ferric chloride, copper chloride, chlorine and thermal contaminated solutions. Liquids (organic and inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and salt solutions, etc. Hastelloy C22 (n06022) alloy has the ability to resist the precipitation of grain boundaries of heat-affected zone (HAZ) and is suitable for a variety of chemical processes in welding state.
